Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  How do I order?

A:  Go to PURCHASE PRODUCTS page in the navigation bar and click on the image of the product you want to order.  This will then take you to the detailed order page.

Q:  How is power used to activate the Road Warrior™?

A:  Only the Road Warrior Max™ power unit will activate the plate. Very little power is required.  About the same as your on-board alarm LED.

Q:  How difficult is it to install the Road Warrior Max™?

A:  A very detailed Installation Guide is provided with your kit. We recommend the frame and display panel be sealed with a suitable sealant prior to installation. High pressure power washes should be avoided.

Q:  What size plate covers do you offer with the Road Warrior Max™?

A:  Standard North American car plate, 12" X 6". Sorry, no motorcycle or European size plates at this time.

Q:  What is the difference between the ROAD WARRIOR MAX™ and the GHOSTPLATE 2.0?

A:  The ROAD WARRIOR MAX™ requires power to operate.  The GHOSTPLATE 2.0 is a passive reflective film which relies on angle of sight.

Q:  What size plate covers do you offer with the GHOSTPLATE™ 2.0?

A:  Any size lens can be supplied if you are willing to use your own plate cover.

Q:  Do you offer any North American Motorcycle plate covers?

A:  Currently we can offer the GHOSTPLATE™ 2.0 only.

Q: Do you offer a warranty?

A:  We test every unit before it leaves our facility. We offer a one year warranty covering manufacturing defects on the ROAD WARRIOR MAX™. However, if the Road Warrior Max™ plate or electronic conditioning unit are altered or modified in any way, the warranty will be null and void. We offer a limited one year warranty on the Ghostplate 2.0 film only.

Q:  Will the temperature affect the operation?

A:  No, our products have been tested in temperature ranges from -40c to 100c with no visible variation.

Q:  How quickly does the ROAD WARRIOR MAX™ respond to power/on or off?

A:  1/100th of a second.

Q:  Why would I need a 2.0 or Road Warrior Max Double Plate Kit?

A:     Many locations utilize a front plate secondary camera to ID the vehicle if the rear plate primary camera image cannot be captured.
